Education is the process of transferring knowledge from teacher to students. School of thoughts and Research bases for classroom management and strategies found to support this process. School of learning theory (inquiring instructional strategies) and school of behaviorist psychology are two important schools that work on motivating students and improving their behavior.
School of learning theory works on provoking curiosity of learners by asking important and essential questions that motivate the students to be eager to learn and find answers for their questions and improve their pro-social skills.
Teachers ask questions, and students search for answers. Students' curiosity will engage and keep them on-task. Teachers can use the direct instructional model that depends on the direct and explicit teaching for a certain point. Students’ curiosity and motivation built by this school make the student internally motivated and strongly engaged in the learning process and creates a perfect learning environment by improving the pro-social skills of the students. Applying this theory creates a dynamic and energetic learning environment in the classroom and leads to creating a class of knowledgeable and active learners.
